Phoenix Financial Compliance Group (formerly the George Green Advantage) was founded by Gerson Gibbs in 2012, after leaving FINRA as Principal Examiner after almost a decade.  He oversaw the examinations of some of the world’s largest investment banks, including: JP Morgan Chase Investment Division, UBS Domestic Investment Division and UBS International (Puerto Rico).  This experience inspired him to create a compliance services organization that can provide custom expertise for small and medium sized businesses.  

Mr. Gibbs' unique intersection of expertise blends extensive regulatory knowledge with a superior education on the management of media.  It has shaped Phoenix's specialty in advertisement and marketing materials.

Phoenix's full services also specializes in regulatory inquiries and investigations, as well as navigating the form filing process.  The priority is ensuring that firm clients develop good relationships with regulatory agencies to foster the best conditions for investors.

We are committed to providing technological solutions and educational training to our broker-dealer and investment advisory clients to create personalized compliance partnership support services which assists each client in the growth of their business.

Kesi Howard is a Business Development and Training Specialist at Phoenix. Ms. Howard acquired mid-management positions in hospitality, banking, and healthcare.  She specializes in Executive Training, AML Training, Annual Compliance Training.   Her ability to create a platform of awareness, identify simple solutions and build relationships can assist organizational goals and help enhance the leadership skills of frontline managers and the followership of teams in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

 

Ms. Howard holds a master’s in Organizational Leadership, a bachelor’s in Business Administration, and she’s certified as a Myers-Briggs Personality Practitioner. Additional, industry affiliations include; Association of Training and Development (ATD) as Dir. of Professional Membership-Pittsburgh Chapter; The National Society of Leadership and Success as a Sigma Alpha Pi member; an Alumni of the U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs; and she is a nationally endorsed business owner through Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council/Minority Business Enterprise. 

Amelia Holbrooks is a Human Resource Specialist at Phoenix, where she provides onboarding and human resource support to Broker-Dealers and Registered Investment Advisers. Prior to joining Phoenix, Ms. Holbrooks assisted with the development of HR functions for numerous companies including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

 

Ms. Holbrooks graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Nyack College and is also fluent in Spanish.
